Thancks to everybody!!
The idea of the house of the ants has been so to speak... a little awkward one... We hope to make better Elisa!

Beautiful! I could spend hours watching ants, they are so productive!

A paradox, I think. It all looks beautiful, but in fact the scene is one that would be ugly were one to thinktoo much about it (creatures sucking the juices - and life - out of other living creatures, I mean). Brilliant pictures though.

Daniele,
Very nicely composed captures of these wonderful creatures. Nice crisp focus, too. Your photography is wonderful. Kudos!

PS-thanks again for your comments at my Seattle Daily Photo page. It's so nice of you to take the time to visit and comment! -K.

Perception, Claudio! grazie per la visita e per i complimenti!

Susan:Like you also I remain hours to observe these formidable creatures.. Thancks a lot!

Nik: It makes it appeal to your attention in the comment! Is true, for the ants those small creatures are nutriment source, but I love every aspect of the nature, also that rawest one... You know also that the every life of being paradoxicalally is tied to an other... Thanck a lot and return to visit!

Kim! tancks to you! please come again!

Joel: it thinks that at the moment of the release I was not myself shrewed of the aphids, the light reflected on the monitor me did not make them to see!

MAr: grazie per i tuoi pensieri...

Reflex: yes! a coltivation of afhids!

The ants guard the aphids from attacking, they feed of the substance honey that they produce naturally. The true enemies of the aphids greens are the ladybird, that the ants drive away feraciously. in the biological agricoltural the ladybird it was used for kill the aphids, that they infest the cultivations.
I have waited for more hour, for to make to understand the ants that I was not an enemy,to the end they scrambled up unconstrainedly on the lens of the camera, one satisfaction!
